This resurrection couldn't have been more timely.
I finally got a friend to go mountain biking with me yesterday and had yet to fold down the driver's side seat back since I bought my truck.
I'll leave the repair of the inoperable lever/latch assembly for another day... but something I learned is you don't need the lever at all.

You can just pop it open with a flat-head screwdriver.

No shoulder wrenching feats of strength required.


Had a great day mountain biking! Still looking to buy a trailer hitch carrier thing. And a Kayak maybe too.
