Default Aftermarket suspension

Anyone modified their non PASM suspension? Recently bought an '06 S with the standard suspension. Ride/handling balance is nice but it sits just a touch too high for my tastes. Anyone done this. What are the options? Results?

I've seen some that lower (them w/ progressive rate springs) about 1.5 in. (IIRC) but don't recall the brand right now. A search should turn up something. I would be curious about it too.

Default Well....scratch this idea......

just checked out the underpinnings of the vehicle. Removing the stock shock/spring assembly is a LOT more complicated than on most vehicles. The entire front drive mechanism to each wheel and the entire brake assembly on the front would have to be removed. The front drive shaft to each wheel goes through the mounting brace for the front shock!!. In the rear, the upper mounting points for the suspension aren't even visible and appear to require substantial dismantling of the innards of the vehicle. Labor costs for this would just not be worth it, especially given that this is really my "second" vehicle.
