Default PASM + 20 inchers + 50 profile tyres, a good match??

hi this is my first post here

i have pasm and height control on the v6 3.6 and 19 inch oem's

i want to upgrade to 20 inchers and want the maximmum tyre profile.. i also dont want the tyres to press against the body when the car is lowered.. help me out

Why not go with the recommended 275/40-20 tires that are standard for the 20 inch wheels? I can't see that 50s would give you any benefit.

am currently running oem 19's and do not want to compromise on ride quality

My Cayenne has 275/40-20 tires, with PASM, and I think the ride quality is fine. You can always set it to "comfort" mode if you want to soften up the ride a little. I would be surprised if the difference between the 19s and the 20s was noticable to most people.

i live in india and the roads here are not perfect and there are many many bumps and all..

In that case, 20 inch wheels might not be a suitable upgrade. They look very nice, but they are easily damaged in deep potholes.
