Clear Bra-3M Product for New Cayenne GTS?
Has anyone used a clear bra (or 3-M product) for a Cayenne?
Expecting a Red GTS to arrive 2nd week of February and I have had great success on all of Boxsters and 911's.
Is one necessary since the front lower body panels seem to be plastic?
I have had both lower plastic panels and first 20% of the hoods on the other P-Cars covered.
Does it make sense to use clear bra on lower body side panels, and our just behind wheels, and or rear sections?
Any comments would be appreciated.

I had it installed across the front of the hood (probably 25%), entire front of car, backs of mirrors, behind wheels, door handle indentations, and on door jamb, all for about $750. Works great other than inconvienence of wax removal at edges of clear bra

For SUVs, the hood coverage is typically less unless the customer chooses to cover it entirely so they do not have to look at a line. The bumper, lights, fenders, and rockers are a must especially if you have a darker colored vehicle as the paint chips white.

I have most of my CT covered. 1/3rd the hood, front bumper, lower and upper front fenders, After the wheel well, and 3/4 of both doors and just in front of the rear wheel well. The ones i found most important were the doors. Saved mine 5 times so far from serious damage. On time i had someone slam their door into my passenger door and then proceed to support their weight while getting into their car rubbing it over and over. I had a dent about the size of a quarter and blue paint. Thought the car was going to need a repaint. had a paint-less dent repair guy remove the dent and polished out the clear bra. You cannot tell anything happened. If it weren't for the film I would have needed a respray for sure.
I have been told that most dealerships will add $1000 onto an offer for a trade in on a used cayenne if it was covered in film.
