So, I just got the coolant tube leak issue, need some help.

My buddy in Germany got me the new tubes and the associated parts I would also like to add for less than the US dealers charge. Lucky for me I have friends in Germany, but for everyone else Porsche has left you out to dry for a month or longer. Hopefully they step up to the plate and recall the faulty tubes so that others don't have to go through the hassle.

I don't really know exactly how to say this, so let me first say...
FORE !
With that out of the way, when was the last time you had a CT scan?
Do you believe in Santa Claus?
Do you believe that we never set foot on the moon, it was all a conspiracy?
Do you have any fr!gg!n !idea how s!lly your comments sound? Especially in the Cayenne forum? Especially with Dr W at the helm of the Porsche Zeppelin?
Y!kes.

FWIW, there have been very few recalls on Cayennes, A506 Cowboy Belt buckles is the only one I can remember at the moment.

Where are your manners?

It's irritating is when I bring in a vehicle for years for a issue that is later covered by a TSB and the dealer doesn’t pick up that the TSB applies to me when it comes out. Don’t even get me started on when I bring it in and there is an existing TSB that applies directly to an issue I bring up and I have to go back point it out.
I’m with Sticky. If there’s a know design issue (telling us we have dual stage air bags when we don’t, alignment specs on the early Cayennes, hesitation, coils, impact of prep solution used on the wiper blades, cardan shafts, transmission control modules, coolant tubes) on a premium product it should be covered by Porsche at least as long as the original owner has the vehicle.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about ‘upgrades’ (although it sure seems like the design of the intercoolers was a clear mistake too) I’m talking about the basic ‘go’ and safety functionality that we paid for from day one.

Welcome aboard.
Take some time to look around, search the archives, meet our official forum Bartender, MadFox, official forum king of the one liners, Shamus, and you've probably already met our esteemed "Moderator"....I prefer adult day care provider and keeper of the ltc electric shock collar remote (which has a MUCH longer range than a Cayenne remote key fob....then again, what doesn't have a much better range).
Just don't mention Larry (R.I.P. ) as I'm still grieving a bit.

Please allow me to break this to you gently.......
They don't because they don't F(&^()%^NG have to.
A506 was dealt with (in the most inexpensive manner possible) only because the NTSB/DOT said they had to.

No kidding ITC. I know why they’re doing it. I just don’t agree and wanted Sticky to know he isn’t alone in his expectations.
I’m also trying to point out to 99firehawk why _some_ customers do what we do. It’s really not anything against the dealer it’s because Porsche/PCNA is seems to refuse to do the right thing unless they are forced.
Just told someone that asked the other day that I don’t have a problem with vehicle but I do have a problem with the way Porsche deals with things. And please don’t jump in and tell me I should have bought a Lexus. That’s not the issue. My Porsche roots go back to the 356 and early 911 days and I don’t like the way Porsche/PCNA treats its customers these days.

He goes above and beyond trying to help folks out here and should be commended, not used as a PCNA complaint conduit.....after all, he has 10 kids to feed (at least that's what was said in an old post )
Wait for it.....
That and $2.00 won't buy you a cup of coffee with the new PAG/PCNA. How many people there would even know a 356 if it drove over them? The only reason they would recognize a 911 is that the shape hasn't changed much in 40+ years and is considered to be the most recognizable car shape EVER produced.
Please allow me to be brief:
Then just STOP BUYING f*^+^NG new Porsches
Problem solved.
