Default Anyone tried this Tooki Bluetooth kit?

hi,

Just came across this and was wondering if anyone has tried? Seems awesome from it's features but how is the real use of it?

Finally, something that can use the redundant phone buttons on the PCM.

Hindibuff, no, didn't see this one but I did have a Parrot (I think it was a basic 3000) installed. My installer found a kit that allowed it to connect via the PCM2, mutes the PCM when a call comes in, he attached the microphone to the upper console. The Parrot control unit was mounted pretty unobtrusively along the side of the center console. Works very well, much better than the Motorola Blue Tooth kit he installed in my 03 Cayenne. The incoming voice gets played through the front Bose speakers. I heard that there is a bluetooth kit for the Denison Gateway but since the Parrot worked so well I didn't consider it.

Mudman,

From what I herd. That kit is actually OEM Parrot.

CAy-ute: I second you. I have the 3100 installed as well. It is ok but my installer couldnt find a way to integrate the speakers and the mute thing. Mute is actually not a big deal for me anyway.

The nice thing about this kit is the ability to dial numbers from the keypad in the car. Plus the view of the caller ID on the PCM screen itself. It is like having an OEM kit installed. I didnt see anything I would want that was missing from it.

As all good toys go, I am sure it has its quirks, and wondering if anyone here has used it, to get some ideas before I jump in.

Mudman2, come on, you don't think it's nicely done?
