Default New Cayenne owner...new to this forum

Howdy folks!!
I'm very new crossover from the 951 board, as I just picked up a 2004 Cayenne S - did the full pre purchase check out, still have 10K in factory, and have 3 yr extended to 100K miles.

I have a blast with the 951 when I drive it, and the Cayenne has been no slouch in the last 24 hours, and it will be my daily driver.

Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" to all, and I look forward to posting, reading, and learning on this forum as I have for a few years now on the 951 board!

Congrats on your new S! I also recently purchased a super low mileage S, hope you are not expecting to get good gas millage? Haha.

(but then again if I would ever learn to keep my foot out of it, and not mess with the tiptronic so much!)

Yes, I know the drill about pics.

As far as the gas mileage...I traded my 01 GMC Sierra 2500HD crew cab (insert Tim Allen grunts) pickup in for this one, so on one hand I will get "better" gas mileage, but on the other hand, I'm sure my foot will be in the gas a bit heavier than usual from time to time.

OK folks here are some pics...had to just grab the "dealer" pics of it since I haven't had time to take any, but it's a beauty! (at least IMHO)

Think I'll be starting with a roof rack, probably the quad exhaust and of couse some upgrade in that area...dear God, I gotta stop. Haven't had the damn thing a week and I'm already talking about mods! When I get other pics I'll post em...wanna get one with the 951 as well (family photo!)

littlejt1 - Sweet...thanks for sharing! Hey and when you get the roof racks, do me a favor and post up how much you spent if you don't mind? I want to add some to mine as well, as I only have the "tracks/rails" for them right now, and I think they look pretty clean with them on.

Thanks.

Thanks for the welcomes...

I'm looking to get the "transport system", not the rails. The ones that go across the roof, not down the sides.

Also...just an assumption, but don't the pre 2007 Touareg's have the same channels on top? But I think the come in flat black instead of silver...might be another "cheaper" option if you run across them.

Hey...there is a guy on here looking to get RID of his "side to side" rails so he can go forward to rear rails. Let me look up his user name for you...maybe you guys can work something out?

Jason

Edit: Hit pjconnor up. He has what you are looking for.
