Default 05 Bluetooth????

Well after all the I-phone hype I kind of wish my CT had Bluetooth. Has anyone used any available option/product to have BT available in our cars? Can we replace the Head Unit to the Bluetooth capable one? Possibility?

How do you plan on using iPhone in your car? As what?

Great, another one. Forum member 'pdxjim' will sense that someone typed Bluetooth and will be here shortly, I'm sure.
You don't need Bluetooth, otherwise Porsche would have put it into the car in the first place, so quit your bitching.

Yes, 2 popular options:
Motorola bluetooth kits
http://direct.motorola.com/ens/carkits/index.html
and any kit from Parrot

Yes, you just have to work around all of the MOST pof (plastic optical fiber) and install your own amplfiier and headunit. Your steering wheel controls will likely no longer work, yadayada.....
Double DIN slot, just about anything will fit.

Nothing to do now except wait for MadFox to show up and once again remind folks of the 'Search" thing......

Yo, Cayenne-guru, pardon my ignorance, but if we're talking about an iPhone, what's the point of having any of the devices in the links provided if you can just get this piece?

Did someone actually include the words "Bluetooth" and "Cayenne" in the same sentence with the phrase "Can I use......"??

Personal preference.
Some people like to have a full duplex hands free setup with the phone audio routed thru a speaker (or speakers).

And, sometimes, the PCM will even Mute the audio being played so you can hear your phone call.....sometimes it feels like it, sometimes it doesn't.

I'm surprised that 'pdxjim' hasn't joined in.....he is the Cayenne Ambassador to Bluetooth.

It looks/sounds cool, but I was specifically looking for something that doesn't go behind the ear and so far this thing has been great:

For what it's worth it would be great if the iphone's built in bluetooth supported stereo audio instead of only mono... that way you could stream mp3s to bluetooth headphones/cars/etc.
