Default Just me, or do you feel that the 1st generations had nicer looking front ends?

Maybe you guys and gals can weigh in here? But honestly I PREFER the 1st generation front ends over the new Cayennes (excluding Turbo of course). I feel as if the 1st Gen fronts/grill were more....open you know? I am just not digging the lower part of the new front ends with the three partition "cold air intakes" (for lack of a better description)

Example:

And an '04 S:

<Shameful gratuitous plug>(which happens to be mine)</Shameful gratuitous plug>

However, I DO dig the Cayenne Turbo hood (and the ENTIRE front end appearance for that matter!!) I wonder if the new Turbo hood would be able to fit on my '04 S? Hmmmm.

Agreed, with the caveat that this does not apply to the CTT. I think the front of the '08 CTT looks great.

I actually prefer the rear view of the older model as well. I don't like the way the exhaust pipes look integrated into the rear fascia on the newer model.

2008 looks way better. The Boxster headlights on the original are too forced.

The front end of the newer turbo model does look much really good - I must agree.

You sure that's a Turbo? Looks an awful lot like a Cayenne GTS

lol...

And what is the internal plan for a Cayenne GT? A 2WD Cayenne with a CTT engine, manual trans and PDCC?

As posted a LONG time ago, Larry mentioned a RWD Cayenne having been built and tested.
No, it was not approved. Too bad, not a bad idea on how to polish up the pig a bit.
