VT Foliage with my Cayenne vs Last Year
Hi All,
We spent the week up in Stowe VT with the Cayenne to soak up the Autumn glory. some great hiking, and some spa (ahhhhhh, steam & massage). It was a wonderful week and we witnessed the daily progression of beautiful foliage to even more beautiful foliage. It truly is my favorite time of year.
Last season we took the C4S to Stowe for the same agenda as well as my amateur style photoshoot to contrast the Speed Yellow and autumn colors. This year the Pure Red Cayenne posed in nature.
I have to say that either car is right at home on all of the dirt and gravel roads that the area has to offer. This time we drove up the "Toll Road" on Mt Mansfield which starts at about 1400' and goes to 3850' - the Cayenne just loved this road (PSM off just to kick up some dust in the tight turns). For anyone going to the area, you can then hike 1.5 miles from the 3850' mark to the highest point in VT (about 4300' IIRC) and get some great views. Clear blue skies and peak foliage - it was just fantastic.
And now for some pics...Cayenne = this week; C4S = Fall 06

Dave,
very nice set of pictures, nothing like foliage in NE, also good taste of bold colors, especially the Yellow 4S... maybe we should start a foliage photo album for New England Porsche drivers
Go Red Sox!

Nice of you to take your daughter along...just picking and envious. Great shots, our trip to the mountains will be to late to see the foliage but the Tail of the Dragon will still be there.
