Red face Had a little accident, gas tank punctured

I hit some metal debri maybe from a hood of a car and punctured my gas tank on my 08 CS.. i heard something clunk but not till

4 miles later some guy is screaming on top of his lungs.."You're spraying gas all over the place..yikes.. i have wifey and Darren in the car.. sure enough i went from full to quarter tank in no time..

so 08CS still at the dealer awaiting parts.. so glad Insurance covers it

anyway..

I got scared of owning another 04 CTT , after this incident..LOL so i took an 04 A8 cpo with 30K miles.. I bought the CTT cheap enough to where i can get rid of it anytime,, i dont want to say how much, people heree might get scared..

so there's your answer madfox!!

some pics of the tank from the insurance company , it's black and white

Dear God Alex... if Larry had been alive... you and your family would have been roasted marshmellows.. as he would have rammed you and self-ignited since he is really Satan.

on a serious note... how the hell did it get to the tank... ltc? I've never gotten under the car... but isn't there a plate to shield it.. I can't tell from the pictures how whatever he hit could do that to the tank..

Alex... come clean.. did you exit the road on Pacific Coast Highway and take a major railing or something down the middle underside of the car!??!

Good to see nothing serious happened after the gas tank incident.

Good job on the A8, buddy of my buys a new one every year too, said no way he would keep it more than 2 years but loves the car too much LOL!

BTW, I would of traded the 08, sorry
