Default Retrofit a ski bag into a CTTS any thoughts

I am looking at an 06 CTTS and it does not have the ski bag option. We use the ski bag more often than expected for local trips to the local ski Mtn for my son. Since this car has a tan interior vs black on my current 04 I can't swap out the ski bag so I was curious if anyone has added a ski bag to their cayenne and how much work and expense was it?

thanks

Thread resurrection. My new to me 05 CTT does not have the ski bag and I could use one. Is a retrofit possible? Has anyone done it? I had a look and thought that either change back seats out from a wreck or switch out the appropriate components. Thoughts?

The search begins for an appropriate donor car. I think I would swap out the components unless I find a seat back in as good condition. Anyone know of a wrecker that has cayennes?

Where are you located?( people often find it helpful if you put your location in your profile) There is a Cayenne S being parted out on the Denver Craigslist. No idea if it has the ski bag or not.

Good idea Cole. I am not far from the US border and ship purchases to Eureka Montana for pickup, so It does not matter where I find one. I will have to get it shipped up. I will check the one on craigslist.

If they have the parts you need in Denver I could probably help get it shipped to you.

I suggest just fold down the single side rear seat back. You still have room to sit 2 people at the back.

What?

I've taken my CTT skiing a lot (40+ days a year, every year) and there is no way 4 adults fit comfortably that way for any length of time.

I agree with Cole. However I only live 4 min from the lifts and have my own locker for my boards. I just want it for my ski buddy neighbour who I trade driving with. Plus I just like the idea for road trips to other areas and when I take my nephew to free ski comps.

Ski rack?

Box plus rack!

Rack with just the ski carriers (folded back). Whole set up comes off in less than 5 min.

Those are the factory 18" turbo wheels painted with Duplicolor black wheel paint.

My bad. I don't expect people to be carrying adults at the back. My 9 and 15 yo fit perfectly fine with the single rear seat back folded down.

Tight fit for 4 pairs of skis in the pass-through anyway. Besides, my kids do snowboards. I either have to fold the seat back, or mount them on the roof.
