p.s.s. Light interior color? With GT3 grease/oil stains in your "leased" Caddy??careful, careful Dell! But on the positive side, baby spit-up should blend in nicely.

Only problem with GM ( I had a Denali before my RR), is that it's nice and tight when you drive it off the lot, but give it a few thousand miles and the Caddy starts to fall apart.

Thanks

I imagine it'll be sooner rather than later. If you get down to VIR please let me know. One of these days I have plans on making it to some of the NE tracks.

Uh, ok. If you say so.

Yes the devil made me do it Re: the light color interior. While I did SERIOUSLY consider the dark interior for the reasons mentioned when it came down to it, it just didn't look as nice as the light colors.

I just don't go near the interior after screwing around with the car while at the track.

Thanks Jay. It is even more incredible in person. It looks like somebody crushed pearls and made them a color! As for towing, it couldn't have been simpler. No need to put it in manual mode (which you can if you want) as the Escalade has a "towing" mode as well. You put it in towing mode and a little "trailer" illuminates on the dash and runs a shift and power delivery package that is very good. The torque on this beast is nice. It was REALLY windy for this first tow so I can't really comment yet on how it "feels" since I was being tossed around like a rag doll. I can say this, 22" wheels aren't exactly what I would choose to tow with.

Amazing isn't it that a manufacturer actually allows for towing upon delivery for a towing system they advertise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the new ride! GM has been pushing out some very fine cars in recent years! The only other full size SUV that comes close to the new Caddy is the Infiniti QX56 imo.

I looked at them at the dealer... they're really nice. But I liked driving the Pepper MORE than the Suburban/Yukon/Slade. If I had a family of 6 and a dog the Slade would be perfect.

Cheers & Great choice.

I've been looking at something different than the Pepper as well, and really liked the Audi Q 7. The Caddy has my eye as well but just a bit bigger than we need right now. GM's new Buick Enclave is the best of the Crossover breed and when Caddy gets one of this platform vehicles, it might be the ticket.

Enjoy the new ride. Somtimes somthing new and fresh is better than "Uber-High performance" with the Uber-High maintainence.

I have onother year left ont he Pepper Porsche lease deal. then it goes back to them. I need something that holds 6 people and a bit of cago when replacemnt time comes around. Keep us posted on the Caddy as it ages.

Cheers...
