Hi everybody,
I am new to this forum and looking to buy a new Cayenne 2008 S and am wondering if the Active Suspension option is worth the money. Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,

if you are only going to be boulevarding with no off road or such, go with the steel suspension. if your mission is more variable, then the air suspension is worth it, changing from off road to on road to low to load.
it is also one of the few things i HAVEN'T had problems with.

It will give your vehicle more flexability...
More comfort - especially when going with larger size rims (smaller sidewall size)
Great off-road capacity with increased height
Better handling by lowering the vehicle while at higher speeds
Self-Leveling towing if you tow trailers or carry heavy loads
Haven't driven a spring Cayenne in a few years (since I ordered my Cayenne S) but in my opinion it should be a standard option on the Cayenne's...

Try both. While I haven't tried the steel sprung 08 s vs air 08 s the previous model with steel springs for rear passengers it's kinda bumpy vs air suspension. I tried both 06 **** with/without air and even my wife noticed the bumpiness(rear seat-she didn't like it)) vs air suspensionI would get the air- more flexibility. My old 04 S had air suspension- wouldn't get one without it IMO. Regards. Mike
