Cool Porsche Cayenne S Transsyberia 2007

One of the last adventures on four wheels: The Rally Transsyberia 2007. 26 Porsche Teams take on the demanding orientation rally across Siberia. With the best equipment: The Cayenne S. Transsyberia modified especially for long distances rallies.

6,200 kilometres, 1 winner.
Who will make it?

Click here to go to the Porsche Transsyberia Site...

I just want to know how they got those "Cayenne 17 inch rims" on a "Cayenne S" with the bigger rotors...

Oh - read closer on the page with the spec's on this "actual Cayenne S" one can purchase and you will see that the rims - although identical in design to the "V-6 Cayenne" rims are actually 18" in size...

Guess they had some paint left over from some of the 911RS's

The Touareg does Paris-Dakar.....the Cayenne done the Transiberian Railroad/Transylvania Twist......pathetic, but predictably marketing driven, pure Porsche.

I wonder if those are the wheels they'll actually use on the Transsyberia marathon... Would they be strong enough? I believe the Dakar Touareg's amd Mitsu's where using OZ rally-raid wheels (I haven't been able to confirm that yet though).

The orange is a bit much though, good for marketing though...

Would be nice to get a set for my winter tyres....
