Stupid topic, but I think about it every time I use the horn.
a 100K SUV and the horn sounds like a kids toy.
Has anyone replaced the OE Horn with a 911 Horn?? Now thats a horn to be proud of.

which tone are you refering to ? the beep beep on lock OR the actual horn

I thought I had a problem until I stood in front of the car while my other half took great pleasure in scaring the bejesus out of me

 

Some alpha/beta models had "wimpy" horns.. it was indeed defective... I'm with mudman, I find it hard to do a "love tap" (like when someone is zoned out on their cell phone and the light has been green for several seconds)instead and most of the time they get the full blast (unintentional) and I feel a little sheepish for having blown the horn.. I think your horn be bad..

 

I must have a defective horn, mine is so "wimpy". Its been that way since day one.
