Default Is re-badging kosher?

I saw an identical, white CT today. It had roof rails and sport exhaust, just like mine. The only difference was with the chrome 18" turbo wheels. To my surprise, I later saw the front, only to see the standard grill and hood. Now, I can understand someone liking the look of a CT over that of an S or V6, but why not change the grill and/or hood? Then I suppose you could de-badge, if you wanted to hide the identity. However, re-badging seems so cheesey. Is this just me?

To each their own. I'd be more inclined to de-badge rather than re-badge, but that's just my view.

I removed my black "Cayenne" script and replaced it with the silver script "Cayenne"... so I rebadged but didn't pose...

Putting a 'false' badge on is IMO a strange thing to do - I just don't get it!
I think the exception could be if you turbocharged your S and wanted to put a Cayenne Turbo badge on.
I don't have any problem with changing the front intakes or exhaust if you prefer the 'look.'
