Joe's worried because I was blocking his cul-de-sac yesterday afternoon with this big black beast with the "dirty" word diesel on the side...

Caution:
You can easily drive over smaller vehicles in your new ride, and as you already mentioned, pull houses off their foundations.

If you have 2 HD PSD's, you can attach tow chains to the front and rear bumpers of a Cayenne and pull it apart......not that I've thought about it much.

Speaking of the dark side..

Why the PSD and not the Duramax with the Allison transmission?

Needed a new tow vehicle and the new GMC isn't ready yet with the 2500- didn't want the "classic." I had a 8.1 gas engine with the Allison 5 speed- good transmission. Like the looks of the new Ford and I got a hell of a deal...anyway, the ghost of Larry would have come and poisoned me in the middle of night if I didn't get a Ford...

The Duramax/Allison is a very very good combo.

But, when it comes to longevity, durability, something just says Ford Heavy Duty. The Powerstroke and Ford have had a very successful run. I see no reason why it should change now.
