Question Garage Door Programming

Tried programming my garage door openers into my new CayenneS. First opener programmed pretty readily, second one won't take. I've read the manual, and followed their step by step without success. Any thoughts...?

When this has happened with any of my homelinks, a new battery in the remote for the one giving you fits usually works...

I just did this a few months ago, and found the instructions in the manual are not correct. If you do a search for the homelink website it gives you the instructions for Porsche's http://www.homelink.com/training/train.taf?do=3 .

but it is basically as follows:
hold your old remote just forward fo the homelink buttons adn press and hold the button, while doing that press and hold the homelink button you want to program and wait for a light to flash. then you do the instructions in the cayenne manual, which is pressing the "learn" button on the garage door opener and then press the programmed homelink button.

The above link should get you through it, if it doesn;t work, search on google for homelink and they have other instructions there.

good luck.

Default 955 957 Homelink programming

I could not find this info, but I was able to figure out.

STEP 1: Ignition on. Press number 1 and number 3 button to clear any prior codes.

STEP 2: Choose which button you want to use then hold it until it blinks fast.

STEP 3: Press the “learning button” located inside your garage on the motor unit.

STEP 4: Go back inside of your car and press the button you were selecting to program twice, on a third press the garage door will start opening/closing.
