Is this the one in Steven's Creek? Marine Blue?? I almost went there to look at it. But right now they are selling Turbo S's for $20Koff
They are sitting on the lot because of the price range and with the new body style coming out as well

It was basically a 3rd vehicle and I had to park it in an outdoor space I rent about 1/4 mile walk from my house. I wasn't really using it very much and mostly to haul stuff so it didn't make sense to have such an expensive vehicle for that kind of duty. I have a pickup truck parked out there now and it serves the same purpose.

I had a Mercedes 05 CL 500 before the CS. Paid a 100 grand and got 50 back a year later, That was because Mercedes did a remake of that model and there was a glut of the old ones. (you could get a 05 CL 55 for only 70 grand at that time too.) The same thing is going to happen the the Cayenne I would guess.

I'm going to keep the CS for two years and see what they say about the remake then. As long as it stays reliable.

I'm done trading these expensive German cars after having them only a year. It's a money pit. Might as well use the car and not read all the Porsche propaganda about how much better the new ones are. Mines a great car and that's really the only way to get your money out of them is to keep them long term.

Damn. For $82 I would have taken it off your hands. I was toying with trading my 04 TT in for an 06 TTS in Marine Blue and they offered me $64k on trade in, I only paid $84k new in 04.

Now that you know how much the bottom line is, you still have a chance to walk to Steve Creek and get it for slightly higher!

Just bought an 06 CTTS with 4100 miles for for 107K (sticker 127K). This is a mutant beast. The term 'SUV' is a joke for what this vehicle is capable of. The panorama roof is so cool I can't stand it. The launch off the line with unsuspecting passengers is a hoot. Guys scream like 10 Y/O girls at a Justin Timberlake concert and the ladies ask for a cigarette. What a blast. BTW I also own a 96 993tt and this is pretty close despite its sheer size.

I was thinking that, too bad it is more than a walk. I think I have spent more money shipping cars from CA to NJ over the years, than the difference in $. It wouldn't happen to have a black interior by any chance, would it?

It's grey interior with tons of carbon fiber. It looks very nice inside.

With 72K miles and 3 1/4 years, I was around 50% of what I paid by going Russian. If you go Russian, you'll never go back.

I was looking at 06 Turbo S (about 14k off sticker) and on a three year lease, 15K Per yr miles, residual was 39%. Decided not to jump on that deal.

I sold our '06 V-6 Cayenne last month for $36k with 26,000 miles on it to a private party. We bought it for $37k with only 9,000 miles from a displaced mistress who needed cash more than she did the P-car she had been given. However, I should add that Cayenne ownership in our immediate area is somewhat sparse. The soccer moms are fighting over who gets the next V-6 that comes up for sale....

a p car is one that i don't hesitate to buy used. there are so many crazy addicts like you guys ( and ok, me too ) that take excessive care of our vehicles. It's always easy to find a fanatically maintained Porsche and let the other guy take most of the depreciation.
