Default From Larry's widow....

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that he passed away quietly over the weekend after a lengthy illness.
I'm sure many of you in this forum knew Larry and his relationship with Porsche and especially the Cayenne.
After a private family service, he will be cremated and his ashes put in a 911 porcelain urn; unfortunately he could not be buried in his real 911.

Warmest personal regards for a safe and happy New Year,
Marie

Don't believe it for a minute.... or else we'll have to do our own Cayenne forum CSI...

(BTW, interesting article as I have more VW-Audi products right now than Porsches...)

Default from the article

""Cooperation with Porsche offers opportunities to defray development costs. Porsche has made no secret that it will use competencies of the VW group to develop an advanced electronic architecture for the Panamera. We believe Audi will play a critical role in the development and testing of the Panamera with cost compensation from Porsche to Audi," said Morgan Stanley."

ok, the words compentencies, advanced and electronics have no business being in the same sentence with either VW or porsche.

Dear Marie:
Please accept our sincere sympathy on the passing of Larry. I'm sure that you're being "kind" with your gentle words about Larry's passing. As his wife, you also have our heartfelt thanks for staying in that relationship for all these years. I'm sure that you're sugar-coating that Larry passed away "quietly". Larry and "quiet" just didn't seem to go together. When the cremation occurs could you please post some of the ashes in this forum for a memorial? It would be a lasting tribute for him here. In fact, if I may be so bold, I'd like to show you how it could look, please see below.. and thanks again for your Saintliness, which we know was required in your marriage to our dearly departed Larry.. Here's the sample posting so that all can properly honor his memory:

Cayenne Forum Memorial to Larry

Please note these are symbols of his ashes, placed here for our lasting memory of the man who hated his Cayenne, loved his Cayenne, and finally hated his Cayenne. Rest in Peace old PAG soldier of the realm.

while posting this a wind blew through the room and the above was re-arranged and a sign from Larry was made (kind of like a Ouija board).

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God be praised Larry is still amonst us in !! SPIRIT !!

I'm wondering if this thread has something to do with your offer to take "Larry" to lunch. Yikes!

I think you need to be involved in the forensics and identify Larry's dental remains to acertain whether or not this is just an elaborate ploy to throw us off of Larry's tracks as he is probably lurking around and may randomly pop up as another accidental alter-ego.

I'm sure he will be open to suggestions for names__________________.

That is what I thought... I had seen recent post in a few threads in the 964 forum... I was surprised to see this thread when browsing this forum...

Pretty dark humor... I have develop a great appreciation for most of the folks here in Rennlist so reading about the loss of someone even though I do not know them in person, has its impact....
