Winter tires in warm weather
Folks,
I had recently got the winter tires mounted on my Cayenne. I am planning to take a driving trip to Florida and was wondering if I should drive on the winter tires or get the all season mounted back. Issue is that mounting all season and remounting winter tires after the trip will cost me approx. $ 100.
Will I be damaging the winter tires or cause excessive wear by driving almost 2000 + miles in non winter weather.
Thanks for your help and comments.

In general, yes, but the degree to which the tires will wear depends on the brand and/or UTQ. For example, Blizzaks are phenominal in snow (due to the outer compound used), but after extended dry/highway conditions, that spongy rubber will wear off and you are left with a compromised snow tire.
The $100 will likely be less than the amount of wear done to the 4 tires.
It's not exactly unsafe, but you will have a bit less dry weather handling (re: grip) than you are likely accustomed to (and more sidewall flex depending on what diameter your summer wheel/tires are).
