N rated vs non-N rated tires

they
never commented on the lack of N rated tires with mine until they were ready to take it back under the lemon law judgment. at that point they wanted "N" rated tires on it.
however, the arkansas AG convinced them that their desire to have the last laugh was trumped by the enforceable judgment against them.
my personal feeling is that you should pull off the OEM tires with a few miles left on them and then toss them in the back of the shop. then when you go back for the buyback, you can drop them back on again.

For what its worth I have just finshied with a some Yokohama's, non N rated.
1 - On Looks
Great looking tire imho
2 - Cornering
on anything over a slow turn, interesting noise, I think the tread was grabbing.
3 - On Ride
Confortable, seemed better than the Conti's, PCM may mask the real feel tho.
4 - On Wear
Got 20K out of them
5 - On Wear 2
Side walls were not up to the job and severe cupping occured after 10K, I should have replaced them. Yokohama would not entertain a warranty claim, Delaer fitted them but as they were non N they were not helpfull with a warranty claim. " well what do you expect from non approved etc etc"

Well, I am rolling the dice and going to give the Hankook Ventus a shot. I will tell you all what I think after I put them through the test (which is really not that extensive). I was quite disappointed with the Pirellis and refuse to shell out the cash for another set.
