Talking Well, I Did It! New (to me) '06 Cayenne Turbo

Yes, Boys and Girls, I took the plunge again this afternoon. I traded my 2004 Cayenne S in on a CPO'ed 2006 Cayenne Turbo! Black on Black with the blacked-out trim. Comfort Package with memory, Rear-view camera with Park Assist, PCM Phone Module, Soft Look Leather, Sirius Satellite radio, Compass, Roof Rails, SportTechnos, CD Changer and Gloos Light Wood Package. Car is a year old and passed a pretty serious scrutiny by the Park Place shop foreman who is a very good friend.

I really like the look of the car - espcially the light wood trim. It really sets off against the black interior. Goes back to the dealer on Monday for the towing package install(!) and I will be back on the road again.

Pictures tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

Toby

(sorry, Lewis!)

So sweet. I "wood" like to see the light wood interrior on the black.
Waiting on your pics (any intention on showing us the interior?).

Congratz and enjoy in speed and safety!

Clear side markers?
Four tube sport tailpies?
Painted Sport Technos?

Another one wades into the Kool-aid for a second dip into the vacation villa known as Cayenne seconditis syndrome. '04 to '06 --- are you like me and the '08 looks fugly? So far, '06 has been absolutely wonderful.. nearly 30 days and no glitches. plus ... ain't the DVD Nav awesome! (sorry kooser!)

MadFox,

Yep, to paraphrase those d*mn fast food commercials - "I'm luvin' it!". '08 does look at bit on the dowdy side. And you are right, the DVD Nav is a far cry better than what used to be available.

Not yet, but will be one of the first things I get done when I get back from Pebble Beach next week.

No, these are the SportTechnos I had on my S. The Turbo came with the 20" Sport Design wheels and even my wife did not like them! '

Toby, Congrats... I have an 05 CS with the black out option now for a couple of months and really like it, can't wait to see pictures of the Big Boy. FYI... best numbers I've found on clear markers are from Rennlist sponsor Bumper Plugs.

OK, so here are a very few pictures. It's pretty gloomy here today, so apologies. Will take more next weekend.

Awesome Toby.
Very unique combo -the first I have seen of the light olive wood with the black interior.
You didn't get a chance to change the wheels out yet? Are those the 20"Sport Design wheels that you said came with the car and you guys didn't like?

Another cool upgrade, although after just laying down alot of paper on this beuty already you might be "done", would be this http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c..._1923_23155658, not expensive and adds a nice finishing touch on the floor.
Cheers

Thanks Kooser. I hadn't seen this combo before either. It really does stand out. SportTechnos are still on my old S that was traded. The Turbo goes back to dealer tomorrow morning for the tow package installation and they will swap my wheels at that point.

I've thought about the dead pedal. Have yet to decide if that's the way forward or not.

Except for the John Denver on the CD Player (am I seeing that correctly?), the car looks fabulous.
