Default Ding on Cayenne Wheel

Well, I've got my first scratch on my Cayenne wheel courtesy of a nice cobblestone curb and my inattention. Has anyone successfully had one of these polished or ground out, or is it best to either live with it or replace the wheel?

If you're in the USA, try: www.fixrim.com.

For about $130-ish, they can repair the wheel like it was never there.

My dealer uses them for all their repair work

Actually, if it's only a scratch, why bother? It's probably going to happen again! Besides, it's supposed to be an offroad vehicle!

There are firms that will come to your house and fix the curb rash. Have had it done in the past and it looks great.

My son had a franchise service come to the house and fix a pretty bad gouge in his Audi S4 OEM Avus wheel from a road hazard he hit. The guy pulls this small enclosed trailer which has a tire dismount and balance machine and small paint booth in it. Fixed it in about an hour and it looks great. He can match just about any factory wheel as long as it's not chrome. Can't remember the name of the company unfortunately but it had the name wheel in it- big help eh? Maybe google can find it... a friend also had a factory C4S wheel done by the same person.

Great to know that they are here in my area, thanks.
I have a few minor scratches, nothing worth fixing at this point, but I am sure as more miles rack up that they will show their age and at that point Wheels America Wheel Repair will be the perfect option.

Thanks everyone. I got it repaired for about $120. Looks great. I'm at 20k now in 11 months and still love this car.
