Roof Rails
Just wondering how easy it is to pop on a pair of roof rails. My car didn't come with them, and I'm thinking about adding. I'm referring to the kind that goes front to back along each side, not the kind that goes across the roof.

Piece of cake, takes about 30 minutes to install.
There are 3 brackets that go on each side, just put the rail on first to see where they need to slide to so you can screw them into the bracket. The bracket, once at the correct location, will lock in or latch into place.
Good luck

Three Wheelin'
buy from a dealer & local tuner if possible. i'd avoid place like Ebay or anywhere repquires shipping. the rails often got damaged during shipping due to very poor packaging from Porsche. been there done that. make sure to buy from a place u can inspect them first.

I've bought several parts & accesories from them with excellent service and shipping IMHO.
They also give PCA and Rennlist members a 15% discount!

I actually bought a bunch of stuff from Suncoast including 10 sets of brake calipers for a buddy's brake project.
I recently ordered an interior sunshade for our Cayenne back in June from Suncoast and I am still waiting. Suncoast sold out of all of them and production started about 3 weeks ago, gave me an ETA around mid to late October
Nice to have that sunshade when winter is around the corner
I would tell them to pack the rails really well as my dealer told me they had to send many back to the warehouse as Porsche poorly protects the front and rear of the rails during shipping.
Just some advice, whoever you get them from, open the front and back of the box first to inspect the rails, there is where the damage happens.
I got my rails from Ebay brand new and they were perfect from luxwheels.
