just recently had body work done. Went to pick up my car and this is the situation. The driver door opens with click of remote or with key. Back drivers side door will not open from inside or outside. Passenger rear opens no problem with remote click. Passenger front door, after clicking unlock on remote takes two outside handle pulls to open (same as if you wanted to get out from the inside and had to pull the handle twice)....WHAT COULD THE BODY SHOP HAVE DONE. Why dont my doors open normally with one or two clicks of the unlock onthe remote or button inside the car?

There is a service position for the door latches when they are removed. The body shop didn't know what they were doing and didn't set them to said service posistion when working in that area and reinstalled everything. It needs to go to the dealer. In cases of extreme negligence they will not open at all; I've had to actually cut through the inside of a Cayenne door panel to remedy this. The body shop should be paying for this as they were quite obviously unqualified to work on your vehicle.

YOU DONT NEED TO CUT ANYTHING JUST INVEST A FEW MINUTES

 

Hey guys I have the same problem after a body shop worked on my truck my doors only open when they want to open and the passenger rear door doesn't open at all....worried!

 

I would take back to shop and not pick up untill they fix the issue. Get your insurance company involved if they were involved in the repairs. Good luck.
