If you go to Positano, it is either the Sirenuse or the San Pietro. A little off the beaten path, it is built right into the cliff with a fair bit of history. What is nice is its private beach, built into the rock face. The elevator down through the rock is very James Bond!

Now to make this on topic, I bought a 05' CTT today. Dark Blue, Tan interior (not offical Porsche colors). Has warm weather package, dark wood, comes with a set of winter wheels and radar built in!

What do you mean "not official"? That color combo is awesome, kongradoolations! Which radar and how/where is it built in? I'm thinking of getting a V1. Too many cops on NJTPK :-D

P.S. Which dealer?

SWEET! I really like the dark blue, especially with the tan interior. The Cayenne is a blast to drive in snow...

P.S. We had a delicious dinner at the San Pietro and you are right, that elevator down to the beach is EXACTLY like a Bond movie...in fact I said exactly that to my wife. The Sp was a spectacular setting, but I like the feel of being in the center of town.

You suspect correctly. In order to avoid turning this into a travel forum see your PM with a review I wrote for d'Este.

Just thought I would add to the Cayenne spotted in Europe thread! Well, I lost count and gave up. 5-6 CTT, 4 CS, 4 C's and even a Ti editon. Who would think it costs $120 to fill up the tank! Funny thing is, I only saw a couple 911's. One turbo from UK area then 3 NA 911's. Also saw a nice rs6 avant and S6... Oh, and of course, those pesky red cars with the little horsies on the front.

I knew this was coming! Soon enough. Just got back and have to go through the photos. I have some stiff competition with yours, so I want to make sure I pick the right ones. I also have to get a little car content in there for the mods! Not picking up the CTT until this Saturday, so I will have some photos then.

Very nice! Thanks for adding photo-material to a "Rennlist members in Italy" thread :-D

You're the 5th person I know who's done euro delivery and stayed at d'Este. In Como there is no substitute for this hotel.

I love that spot right before the entrance:

Wow, a "Porsche-sightings-in-Italy" thread! Okay, I'm game...I started in Rome, drove to Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, and then Assisi for a week (loved Assisi). Then we drove back to Rome. Along the way there were several sightings including...
