I have the factory roof rack and want to adapt it for carrying surfboards. Has anyone found anything other than the Tequipment stuff. Thanks in advance

 

I have the racks that are the two silver bars that go from driver side to passenger side rather than the skinny racks that go from front to rear of the vehicle...

They work great for surfboards, snowboards, skis, etc.

 

For anyone who is interested or does a search for Cayenne surf racks in the future. I found some great soft racks from surfdogz.com The size and airfoil shape of the Porsche factory cross bar for the roof rack makes fitment issues for most soft racks. Most manufacturers soft racks are made for tiny 1" X 1" rails. Surfdogz makes a X large version for SUV racks that are purrfecto.

Hello dear Racks generally aren't more than $50 you can get them on amazon or at a sports store the longboard might be a bit more expensive at around $800 to over $1000 when they are new if you are just starting out get a used board or a foam board foam boards are easier and both are cheaper anways good luck.....
