No clue as to where the dipstick is located.

The Service Information Technik manual states:

Capacity:
Refill 9.0 liters of JWS 3309 (ESSO)............. Don't know the USA equivalent fluid
Change: 8.5 liters
Interval 240,000 km (150,000) miles

Don't know what you are doing, but if you've got anywhere near 150k on the clock, I'd be shocked.

Thank You so much for answering! Whew.

Well, when I put it in drive, it seems to not want to go until I rev it sometimes. Its really weird. I was thinking that the brake calipers were holding it back. As if the calipers have not released or I have a stuck piston on one corner.

It an intermittent thing. So, I thought I would check the fluid level of the tranny to be sure. But for the life of me, I can not find the dipstick. I took off the covers in the engine bay and nothing. There is a 2"X3" carpet flap on the side of the tranny tunnel in the drivers side footwell but doesnt look promising.

Thanks Alot for the reply on the weight/type. That helps most of all. I think Ill take it in on warranty?

Just a shot here but have you crawled under the car and looked at the tranny and checked it there is a fill port on the side like a manual gear box?

I'm grasping at straws here.
