Check this out on ebay. Pretty good deal from what I've seen.

$2200 seems kinda pricey for USED KNOCKOFFS!

They aren't knockoffs, they are the real thing.

Missed that. In that case, they appear to be a pretty good deal.

The part numbers are correct but, yes, the "Made in Italy" thing threw me as well.

I have both the 19" Sport Designs (for sale on ebay) and the 20" Sport Techno's and both say Made in Italy. Italy and Australia make over 50% of all the cast Aluminum wheels in the world.

I believe most of OEM Porsche wheels are Speedlines and are made in Italy- look behind your wheels if you can get through the brake dust!

From what I have seen/searched for...damn good buy for someone...I'd like to get 'em, but something about "used" wheels and having a baby on board says...Without an x-ray of each wheel ...and from an unknown source...and NO ONE has bid on these pup's or done an outright purchase already? Subconscious says "No." Conscious says...That's almost $3K off list!

I think the 20" SPORT TECHNO WHEELS on ebay is fake. They told me those wheels are OEM (original equipment) from a Cayenne Turbo. The last time I check only Cayenne Turbo S comes with 20" as standard. I also checked the wheels on my Cayenne Turbo, they were made in Germany not Italy. I am not sure what they are talking about. Great deal = something fishy!

Most of the other Sport Techno's on ebay are fake but these aren't. They are OEM on any Cayenne as long as you spend the $3600 to upgrade. There's a big difference between Standard and OEM.

Which wheels do you have on your Turbo? A lot of Porsche wheels are made in Italy but there are a few (BBS OEM's) that are made in Germany. I have the Sport Techno's (20") and Sport Design's (19") and they are both made in Italy. They are the REAL thing with the real Porsche part number. BTW, none of the knockoff's cast the Porsche P/N into them. That's one of the ways they get around copyright infrindgement. They are just enough different to make them lookalikes, not copies.

As for a deal yes, this is a good price but not out of line for USED wheels and tires. I purchased a set of 9" and 10" Sport Techno's (the '06 sizes) from a dealer on ebay with new tires for $2500 a few weeks ago. Trust me, they are the real thing. The market is soft for wheels right now.
