Telephone Module for PCM
from Tequipment catalog today: "Adds GSM telephone functionality to your PCM system, simply by inserting the SIM card from your GSM-compatible cellular telephone. The PCM 12-button keypad makes it easy to dial numbers. Available for vehicles as of model year 2006 with PCM. Please see your Porsche dealer for further information." So, is this what is available rest of world??

My 06 has the sim tray but I didn't select the option when buying. Don't see the point in pulling the SIM from my phone all the time, or establishing service on a second phone just for rolling around.

no need to...just ask a dual sim card (same number). It works fine: the PCM telephone module overrides my activated cell phone, so I always get the call on the PCM.

It's a question of them paying Becker for it in the headunit (PCM or CDR).
As mentioned previously, wait for the next release of the PCM/CDR headunits......

The MY 2005 PCM 2.1 supports the external telephone mute input and then drives the remote voice audio to the right front speaker. Those inputs could be connected to a generic Bluetooth module for an okay telephone integration.
The MY 03 and 04 PCM 2.0 only supports the mute input, no remote audio to RF speaker.
