You may want to take the offer more seriously.
After all, frankly, the wheels are not that great and the tires do not meet the load rating for the Cayenne ...

As far as Ebay, I really didn't have much faith in them selling on there. Ebay comprised of mostly scammers and thrifty shoppers, so an item like 22'' TSWs for such a narrow market as Cayennes and Touaregs doesn't have much of a chance selling.
I already have a few offers on the wheels, so there is no way I'm going to give them away for anything near 1000.
Anyways, I'm really getting tired of defending these wheels. They are in excellent condition with nearly new tires, and well under retail. If your not interested in them, don't waste my time or other forum viewers time by replying to this thread and bumping it to the top of the list. If your interested pm me or email me and I will gladly answer any questions or address any concerns.

Michelin 4x4 Diamaris are used as Original Equipment on the BMW X5 4.6is, Porsche Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo (according to TireRack). The tires and wheel combination will more than meet the load rating on Cayenne.
The Diamaris do indeed meet N0 and N1 Porsche tire specs in certain sizes, but NOT in 285/35-22.
Sizes and specs for the Diamaris that do meet Porsche tire specs are as follows:
235/65VR17 Load Rating 108V - 29.1" diameter
275/45YR19 XL Load Rating 108Y - 28.8" diameter
275/40YR20 XL Load Rating 106Y - 28.7" diameter
Your [friend's?] tires are size 285/35WR22 with a Load Rating of only 102W and a diameter of 30.2". There are no Porsche spec tires with a Load Rating less than 106 for the Cayenne.
Further, Porsche recommends tires in the diameter range of 28.7" - 29.5" for the Cayenne. Your tires are outside this range. Is this a big deal? Probably not. I would not, however, feel comfortable on a tire with a Load Rating of only 102.
Hopefully I have not wasted anyone's time with this information. If I have, then sorry

My friend and I have agreed that these wheels need to be sold. I'm probably wasting my time here, but if your in Northern California they are now only $2800 (all 5 wheels, tires and center caps).
I'm sure even critics of the wheels will agree that the price is far less than retail. PM or email me your interested.
