The PO of my 04CS had this fixed under warranty. I believe the warranty invoice listed, "replaced 2 air door motors".
The fix was not permanent, I lived with the frog in the dash sound for 4 years until sold.

any updates on this? My buddy asked if I had a geiger counter in the glove box, and now she has started to squeal a bit as well....

There's also a tendancy of the HVAC fan to get noisy that's behind the glovebox, it's easy to isolate by modulating the fan speed. It's a pretty easy swap too.
