Default Just Purchased Set of Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza

Just purchased a set of the above tires for my CS. Replacing Bridgestone summer tires that lasted 20k miles. New tires ride great, (only driven in dry weather so far) have a 65K mile warranty, and 30 day buy them and try them guarantee. Cannot believe the warranty! CS runs smooth with little noticeable drop in performance during normal spirited driving. Purchased from discount tire and had them use their new balance machine (Not road force balance, they called it sonar balancing, I think). The long aggravating 70 plus MPH vibration has completely disappeared. No vibration up to 90 MPH (have not gone faster than 90). For nearly 40 K miles I have lived with that vibration and now it is gone.

I'm fairly certain that PAG would frown upon these tires, being only H speed rated, 130mph, max (given the fanfare piled upon the Cayenne as being designed to run with Y, 186mph, speed rated tires).

It's hard to keep PCNA happy, isn't it?

Regardless of their opinion, I will add that I have put many miles on Duelers and they are indeed long lasting, durable and well made tires. They also become somewhat slippery after a few thousand miles. Just be aware that their characteristics will change at some point.

Default Duelers

After literally months of research on new tires for our Cayenne - I also came up Dueler H/L Alenzas. Tirerack rates 63 different highway all-season for suv's - These were rtaed #1 overall - with hundreds of tires tested for hundreds of thousands of miles...I had them at 110 mph on the NJ Turnpike - smooth & quiet...$166 each - best all season tire for any suv...the 130 mph rating thing is a joke - I've beent to 110-115 with the factory tires - no difference...65,000 mile warranty!
