All this for a light with a functional equivalent that costs $10?

Have you driven both at night and compared, especially high beams?
There is literally a night and day difference, trust me.

Given the choice between lights and Air Suspension, ignore those without it, its THE best option, it extends your flexibility SO much, not just for towing, its great for the grandparents, kids, wife out on a comfortable cruise or set it to sport for your crazy days.
Shut up the rest of you I know what your going to say

While I might not be posting as much as usual you will see its a recurring pattern. This time of year is my busy season with all projects coming to a head just prior to our summer season (corp relocation) .
I am however keeping an eye on the kids to make sure they don't start fighting amongst each other and am ready to "ping" when needed.
Hence my comment on Lewis and his retirement, which is the only way he can be on Rennlist so much.
By the way Lewis did you ever think that the gay roof bars were the actual cause of the ! on the Cayenne you "sold". Thats why they could not fix it, it was a personal message to you not the mechanics

If your bi-xenons ever go out, it will cost over $300 to replace each light. If your car has regular bulbs, it will only cost $10.

I thought about cutting them out when I ordered my car for the reasons you suggest, but in the end I got them because: i) they really are laser beams and seems to really make difference sight and safety wise; and ii) 90% of the CS and CTT's seem to have them (as well as other high end cars--MB and BMW) so I wanted to be sure to preserve resale value by getting what seems to be perceived by most people as an important option.
