Several forum members tow with surge brakes.....I'm guessing Trailex open trailer, incandescent lighting configuration.
The "!" Beep Check Trailer Lights will be an annoyance and has not been reported to cause total loss of lighting.......that honor is reserved for a select few.
So from this perspective, the Cayenne will be the annoyance you can live with, as you previously stated is acceptable.

I guess I should have left a BIT more space between the two 'categories'.....but you.....a Cayenne veteran.....were able to identify each right away.
Just trying to live up to expectations.....please don't set the bar TOO high

Answer.....I did get it......looks and feels like I did Okay on this one......original tires (Contis SuperContacts) sounded and rode awful, they weren't rotated....trashed them and replaced with Conti Contacts.....probably less performance but a much better ride......changed the oil and applied a coat of wax and i'll be driving it back up north next week.....when i got it the screen said 12.9 mpg.....been driving it around West Palm for a week and am getting 17.5, honest.... biggest disappointment, I still can't get a set of clubs in the back without drooping one of the seats....
