After describing the real issue at hand to the service manager he then responds back to PCNA.

Also, this just means that letter no.2 needs to be sent to the same person with a request to be reviewed by a "higher level" representative.

It was then that I got a more encouraging response.
All I can say is more letters, better chance for them to HAVE to take note.

I think I'll just mail a copy of the original to your contact... hard to believe that we have to tell the left hand what the right hand is looking for (more letters).. it would seem to me that Ms. Singh should have referenced the letter... Come on... we know the truth.... this is Porsche so our CD letters have to stand out.. why you ask? because Porsche has no complaints!! with such a low volume certainly the ladies talk about the "cute" letters about navigation problems from these rich snobs who own expensive PERFECT vehicles....

............ but, wait ---- I digress...

deep breath.. half-full personality back in gear... THE CD's are coming.. The CD's are coming... it's Paul Reveve, Kooser and MadFox.. The CD's are coming... the CD's are coming...

er................scratch.. back to half-empty... They're coming to take us away.. ha ha.. hee hee.. they're coming to take us away.... for thinking that PCNA would be logical and update the nav........................

OK, please allow me a moment to play devil's advocate here and take the side of PCNA (for the sake of this argument, let's just assume that I have more experience dealing with PCNA and observing their way of 'thinking')....
****************
What is wrong with your current set of discs?
Are they defective?
Are they responsible for abnormal vehicle behavior?
Are they responsible for an accident?
Are they not as represented in the sales/owners' documentation?

Why then should we provide you 'upgraded' discs?
Have we not already provided an update to the original release?
Will you complain about the next release (assuming we authorize one)?

Why don't you simply purchase a new PCM or Porsche vehicle in order to obtain the features which we currently sell/support and you desire.
****************

If it's not in their best interest (re: financial interest), they're not going to do it.

As I've stated before, I hope I'm wrong, which will be simple to determine: wait for the CD's to be released/sold/shipped.

BTW, it's a good thing you haven't seen the next release of the PCM (MY08-09), then you'd want that upgrade as well..................

Best of luck in your quest.....I'll be sitting here waiting for PCNA to throw the cow over the wall

Sir MadFox: QUEST? Did you sayeth quest, Sir LTC? I forgeteth that we seek the Holy CD Grail!
Sir LTC: Let me see, did I mention that in previous legal sieges of the German castle that I placed the cow near the holy LEGAL hand grenade for it to fly over the wall?
Sir MadFox: No, no, you're such a half-empty twit.. that is why you failed.. the cow should be placedeth in the Holy premium German LETTER catapult from Stuttgart.
Sir LTC: Me a twit.. have you forgoteth that the catapult has no mapping data of the German castle because it is not in a major metropolis.
Sir MadFox: Have metropolis-es and data been invented yet?
Sir LTC: I'm a genius, you twit.. I invented them last week, like MOST everything else around hereth!
Sir Kooser: You both are engineering nit-twits, all we need to do is send the premium German manufacturer our requests to upgrade the catapult. For God's sake I'm a Doctor!
Sir LTC: Did I tell you not Sir Doc-a-lot that I have beeneth down this road before?
Sir MadFox: Yes, you did.. but, not once, not twice... but seventhly times before!
Sir Kooser: Okay, okay, passeth the Kool-Aid with adult additive.
Sir MadFox/LTC: We knew you'd need to have a half-empty glass of Kool-Aid .... you were innoculated by the GERMAN witch with the carrot nose! She has all of King Peter's kingdom in a daze until we BURN THEM!

End Scene 2 Act 7th.

You guys are whack!

Lewis I am well aware of how PCNA will handle this, not from experience with them, but from common sense. My leters have probably been used to wipe Peter's ***! And I hope he got a massive paper cut in his taint zone! But we still should try. And a collective voice is better than a single one (back to Horton hears a Who).

There Sir LTC - I bet you knew that I was able to pull my head out of my **** long enough to smell the coffee! I saw my shadow though so now I must retreat back into the sphincter - Bye

When it comes to PCNA, profits take precedence over common sense.....sorry to say.

Perhaps, I was merely attempting to lower expectations a bit....in the end, it would have been nice if you did get what you asked for....but I just couldn't see it happening.

No need to retreat. Lots of room here in the forum....don't run away, especially on my account, that would be a shame.
