Another Rial wheel... great PRICE!!!!

Rial PORTO from tirerack.com est. avail. 3-15-06

$239

20 x 9"/60mm

I'd be concerned about the 60mm offset on a 9" wheels... may need a spacer to be flush with bodyline in the rear. This the same offset/width as a OE Porsche 20" wheel.

Agree, Alex...the new OZ's are very nice...however, >$200 more per wheel than the Canyon's...any idea what they weigh? Those of us running V6's have to worry about such things...

Yeah...great price...I had a set of rial wheels on one of my BMW's back in the early 90's. As I recall, they were a &#@!% to balance...even with good quality tires. In addition to the offset issue, I'd be a little wary of balancing with such a large wheel...

Yeah I think the Canyons are great for the price. I dont know how much the Giotto's weigh, when I looked at those it was only available in Europe, was recommended by Johnsamos. I bought Jaro's technos, so I will just put those on.. tirerack is now the official OZ dist... you can contact damon@tirerack.com

877-522-8473 ext. 643, he helped me with 2 purchases already, he's a spponsor in 6speed..

YOU got JARO's techno's...congrats! Those were what I really wanted, but could not justify the price to buy them new from a dealer...and they are VERY hard to find used--people really hold onto them. I thought about the techno replica's, but could not find anyone who could give me the weight of the replica wheel. I guessed they are gravity cast and weigh more than 40lbs/per which is way too heavy IMO...

BTW, nice photoshop of the "new" technos on your Cay, Alex...

that's pretty light! That means that the sportechno wheel is about 29-31 lbs because a 275/40 N0 is about 33-35lbs depending on brand.

Thanks 426H...wow, that's some pretty heavy brake dust...I will make sure I switch my brake pads immediately to avoid the extra weight

Hey Lewis--I know from previous posts, you have made it a point to NEVER clean your wheels...could excess brakedust be the root of all Cayenne evil? This might be one of those "undocumented" preventive maintenance issues...that would also explain why the dealer always insists on cleaning them for you when you have the truck in for service...LOL

I'm looking for 20' black wheels for the summer, the techarts are way too expensive. Looking for something about 400 a wheel, is the TSW one my only choice? Anyone else have black wheels that aren't overly expensive?
