I did not opt for a tow bar on my 'S' but I have been offered a tow bar off a friend's T'reg for free. First, does anyone know if it fits (I recall hearing in the past they were the same), and second, I anticipate light use but like the idea of an external bike rack, towing light sail boat, etc., is it worth the weight penalty and balance issue, if any?

Its very heavy but does the job, the treg hitch will fit, you will need to buy new bolts. The worst part is the electrics and electronic install which needs the dealer to program it into the system.
