Default GIAC Tuning for CT

Anyone out there have just the GIAC tuning done without any exhaust changes -evrything else stock on the truck? Have you noticed a change/been happy with any improvement? Also did anyone purchase the flash loader to switch back and forth between the programming so that when the car needs service the chip can be switched back to stock programming so the mod is undetected.

Thanks

For the record, while VAG's computers may not be able to detect ECU flashing, the PIWIS tester currently used in all Porsche dealerships will show a large full screen warning when the DME is accessed saying "data record has been tampered with". There is no way around it no matter what their marketing departments want you to believe.

Edit: Here 'ya go, chip tuners of the world enjoy. Additionally, the clock hours in regards to the over-rev counter reverse anytime a DME is flashed. Takes a tiny bit of intellect to notice, but any tech worth their salt would (as would the warranty department at PCNA).

I have read that these issues have been dealt with and fixed so that any changes are undetected.

Fact or Fiction?
