Thumbs up Becker Speech Control, Possible Hands-free solution

Hi,

I noticed an accessory on becker site, called Becker Speech Control. Asked Becker about whether it would work with a Cayenne S 2006 model with PCM in it.

They ansered YES. I am really surprised. I am trying to followup with them to see if they will give me the technical details but apparently this is the bluetooth integrated phone option everyone has been looking for.

Anyone has experience with this?

That's nothing.
My Cayenne doesn't even have NAV and it can drive itself to the Porsche dealer for service! Of course, it's been there 18 times, so it knows the way by now.....

OK, just sit here for a while and wait for Mudman2 to comment...

I assume this is an '06 option and retrofitting to my '04 will require a complete new wiring harness....

oops the kool-aid is wearing off...gotta go.

And if I may, here are the response options for the poll:

1. ltc (along with any offspring, heirs, successors and other genetic experments gone bad) will be banned from the Cayenne forum for life
2. ltc will be forced to own his Cayenne until his (merciful) death releases him from any ownership responsibility
3. ltc will be burned at the stake (since he does weigh the same as a duck)
4. ltc will be forced to write, in no less than 500 words, an apology letter to each member of the Cayenne forum, including the 'defenders of the Cayenne faithful'.
5. ltc will be forced to provide 250 hours of Cayenne community service, being forced to hand wash forum member's Cayennes.
6. all of the above

I think Porsche is in the wiring (or is it the optic?) harness business and not the truck business.
