Post Cayenne on Top Gear

Top Gear (big fan of the show) had the Cayenne on the last episode.
I programmed the DVR and recorded it, I just don't think I have enough meds right now to bring myself to watch it.

Maybe I'll start slow, watching th Touareg V10 TDI show (previous episode), then watch the latest rounds of Porsche Supercup, talk it over with the "nurses" and "doctors" and see if they think I can handle watching it.

If anyone else here watched it, I'd be curious to hear your comments and reactions (Faithful Defenders of the Cayenne need not reply, as I already know your comments in advance).

Ciao,

Saw that as well on my Tivo last night when I got home. Let's just say I didn't just to press play knowing what good ole Jeremy will say. I think I'll watch it when I have my usual Friday night martini so I am already in a numb state

I missed it - I would love to see it if anyone has a tape.

I gotta check to see if I can catch it on a rebroad cast.

The V10 Tourage was funny pulling the tree along the street :-)

Yes and I'll bet towing a tree doesn't give you the " " warning on the dashboard either

Yes, Jeremy is predictable when it comes to German cars....however, his review of the Carrera GT left him speechless, especially after Stig's run around the track put it at the top of the board!

I was def surprised when he gave those glowing reviews. Very odd for him to give that kind of praise to German cars, more specifically the CGT. Of course, the 997S was run in the rain (I almost think intentially) so as to be placed near the bottom of that blasted board! Oh well, we all know that it outperforms cars above put I am sure it gave him great delight to place it in the bottom half.

I saw a Top Gear on the Caynenne about a year ago. If this is the same one, Jeremy likes the power, the way it handles -- likes just about everything. Then he says, it doesn't matter -- it's ugly, and proceeds to describe the ugliness. Enjoy.

Are there new Top Gears out there, because I stopped TIVOing them as I saw them all, and they were all produced in 2004. If there are new ones, what channel has them, so I can get the TIVO going again.

Unless the 997 episode was done in 2004, I do think they are doing some new ones...

Top Gear is now aired on the Discovery Channel every Wednesday 10 P.M. est.

The shows are a blast to watch as I like the cinematography a lot, sadly they are editied and less commentary.

For the Cayenne Turbo, it was nice to see "that" review which was edited. The original was a lot harsher at the end, he said it looked like a Camel with Gingivitis LOL!

The segment that got me was the Audi A8 Diesel, 800 miles on one tank of fuel!

In the edited episode, Jeremy commented the Cayenne turbo felt very similar to the Audi RS6.
