Thumbs up Installed Sport Technos tonight

I have had a set of 20'' sport techno wheels with michelins lying around in the garage for a couple of weeks, and tonight I finally took the time to install them. My first impression is that the steering feels slightly more responsive than with my previous 18'' rims (with pirelli p zero rosso). Slightly more road noise on bad pavement but less (!) noise on smooth pavement. Except for potholes, the ride comfort is the same.

Nice. I like my 20's. I think they are the perfect fit for the Cayenne.

If ya don't mind, what type of jack did you use to lift the Cayenne, where did you jack it (what points) and what did you torque the wheel lugs too?

Please give your secrets! I have to move from my 19's to the 18's for winter and wish to do it myself!

Be sure to RTFM regarding disabling PASM prior to jacking, otherwise you'll laughing as you're pumping the jack faster and faster............

Hmmn, is that a "!"?
Suppose I'm going to have to give you a mulligan on this one, since you are also a "!" trailer lighting sufferer

Best wheels for Cay. Had mine for a while and love them! cornering has improved. Winter is coming so will have to take them off. Sucks!

I was unsure where to put my hydraulic floor jack, so I used the emergency scissors jack that came with the truck. The manual gives you the jack points for the emergency jack, but not where to put a floor jack.

Lugs should be torqed to 160 Nm=120 lbs/ft.

I don't have air suspension but the manual says you should disable PASM before jacking.

Kirby: no excuse please, there were many of them for sale

congrats with the wheels, I think 20" is already very stiff on steel suspension

Opps- I'd better RTFM as the last time I took the wheels off to clean them etc the suspension did do some weird things- don't know how to disable it, but I'll learn now...

I was towing my trailer that day (Sold my Bike and took it up North to deliverer it to some guy) so that "Exclamation Point" must have crept into my subconscious and leapt out from my keyboard in a minute of weakness...

Bad keyboard, Bad keyboard...
