Just brought the Cayenne in for the W522 Navigation disk/PCM update.
Also performed was the infamous W506 buckle update - wow does that look cheap
In addition: W555 recall - I forgot what that is. Anyone?
Also listed was W401 and the other W559.
W401, the trim strips for the rear lid (or more) depending on the VIN, was NOT performed secondary to parts being on back order.
W559 was supposed to take care of the rubber door seals coming off ?, according to my service rep. or was it the rear hatch micro-switch? But the parts were also backordered.
They also replaced a defective comfort module since that wasn't working properly.
I don't mind the little recalls since Porsche is obviously trying it's hardest to perfect the Cayenne. Mercedes-Benz would never issue recalls for cosmetic things such as W401.
I'm just perturbed that they issue recalls and don't have the parts readily available.
