Lewis: This is awesome. I’m a huge fan of tart drinks. Had I known previously that this was a lemon-grape drink, I would have embraced its virtues sooner. I am headed to the grocery in the a.m. to purchase the ingredients. I’ll bet an adult “kicker” is refreshing too.

Now, for those looking at this “private-public” post and are perplexed, please let me set the record straight:

1. ltc is an engineer who has had “issues” with PCNA about a “!” light while towing. Never use a "!" in a post as that can create a ltc allergic reaction.
2. ltc is of high intellect and knows the Cayenne as well as anybody.
3. ltc drops dry sarcasm into postings about other Cayenne glitches.
4. ltc is a “legend” in the legal minds of PCNA (apparently).
5. ltc assisted in solving some of my S “glitches”, to which I’m grateful.
6. ltc is NOT the Jim Jones of the Cayenne Church of the Confused.
7. ltc IS an honorable gentlemen who “real Porsche men” can appreciate.
8. ltc is married and I’m not his lover.

Hey, I think Kraft has a lawsuit on their hands as it is obvious that "Barney" the dino was stolen from this wonderful Kool-Aid beverage!!!

Yes, Google and the Internet are amazing:

PS Rex-Rum: Jennifer, Ruler of Rex

My personal favorite mix is a little PS Rex and about two oz. Spiced
Rum. Makes a fascinating treat. If you make a whole batch you can put
it in the freezer and make slushies. It's great for those parties where
you wanna try a little something different.

And, of course, in the interest of full disclosure:

Could you be a bit more specific?

Psychologically, almost all of the engineers/managers I work with (who basically freeze like a pack of gazelle when they first spot the lion coming out of the bush whenever I enter a design review).....I would have to say yes.
(I've been told that Atilla the Hun has better people skills than me)

Professionally, I've been spending 16 hour days in an anechoic RF chamber trying to get an audio amplifier (for a certain car company for 2008-2009 new model introductions....yes Mike, you know who) compliant...no, they didn't listen to me so now I have to clean up after the kids; so this should keep me amused for a few weeks.

I would not use the term "legend".
I'm quite sure my name is recognized at PCNA and I would also go as far as to say that I will NOT be getting a Christmas card from Peter Schwarzenbauer, PCNA President, this year.

Okay.. I looked like a kid in a candy store.. Went to Publix.. Go to the Cayenne Kool-Aid aisle.. and found unsweetened lemonade and grape but no sweetened?! So I buy both anyway. Add 500 gazillion calories of real sugar to the two bags and even bought a gallon of 'purified' water because I wasn't sure that my loverly wife had a big container.. I mixed the brew in the kitchen and she walks in with a stunned look. She was aghast that I had gotten a drink recipe off of an internet forum for Porsches!!

And by the way, no real reason for doing so, but as it turns out I decided to give up carbonated drinks (was a diet coke fiend) as of the first of August, so the timing on this was great! Lots of water, tea, coffee, and now, Kool-Aid!

Lewis.. So the decision is in!! I'm now a purplesaurus convert! Think a little rum might be interesting! Wife says she'll try to find the pre-sweetened lemonade at another store.. Ahh... being a Cayenne owner has its privileges!!

So I make a gallon of the stuff and two high school kids and one college boy.. (when do they all move out?!) .. well the little.. er, big schitzus... drink the whole darn gallon up last night.. I got two lousy small glasses.. Mixing the two packages adding 500 gazillion calories of real sugar.. gotta find the presweetened lemonade.. or now I've got an excuse to go to Canada.. buy it all ready pre-packaged!!

oh and after looking at all the postings on the forum quality control etc.. once again.. I'm being too positive.. guess just two glasses of the official Cayenne Rennlist Kool-aid has warped my engineer logic brain!?!!? Lewis bring me back to reality!?
