Thank you to everyone that has responded to this thread... it is fascinating to see the alternate toys of Cayenne owners. A few months ago my friend and I listed all of the cars that we have owned since we were 16 and the composite list approached 100 cars, the majority of them European. Sometimes when defending the VW derived VR6 engine in my Cayenne I mention my 1976 912E with a 911 body and a VW 412 engine.
(In my list I reframed from listing cars that have been sold in the last few years, Volvo V-70, VW GTI VR6, Boxster, Peugeot 505D sedan).
I hope we see more collections of Cayenne owners in the days to come...

04 Porsche Cayenne Turbo
02 BMW M3
05 VW Golf V GTi (2.0l FSI Turbo for all you Yanks)
04 Audi RS6+ Avant
99 Porsche Boxster
92 Mini British Open
06 Aston Martin Vantage (still waiting since 2003)

They are spread over the world, but I do feel like a pillock - this is the first time I've seen them listed in writing. Maybe I should take a leaf out of Rowan Atkinson's book: "why have 6 (or 7) cars when one will do?"

@EPV: My favourite car (in the right traffic conditions) that I've ever owned was a '99 Subaru Impreza GT Turbo... have ULTIMATE respect for Fuji Heavy Industries and their cars...
