Hi. I am trying to install the carnewal retrofit kit for homelink. I have removed the two secrews in the sunglass holder and the rear of the overhead panel seems to pull out. The front looks still attached somehow though. I don't want to pull it and break anything.

The instructions are a bit unclear on whether the whole panel has to come out but given I need to screw pieces in, this seems essential.

Any advice appreciated.

You need to pop off the lens for the overhead light and remove the scres under it...
