This week's Check xxx message on the display is "Check Directional Bulb'.
OK, the passenger side orange directional bulb is out. Fine.

Refer to manual page 312 on removal, should be no problem.

After Step 2, problem.

The manual was written BEFORE the TSB for fogging headlamps (no, not the "stuff it full of desicants and hope they don't saturate until AFTER the warranty exprires".....that was a good one; I'm referring to the LATEST TSB which installed vent tubing to the headlamps.

Exactly how do you remove this tubing and then reconnect it if in fact you can get the headlamp assembly out of the front end?

And for the icing on the cake, I can't find a PY21W bulb (page 310) at any of the local auto parts chain stores anyways.

Back to the dealer......

 

The unit pops out easily in line with the manual instructions and the tool in trunk. From what I remember it (tube) does not detach. Bulbs were available at PEP Boys.
