Is It Leather Or Is It ______?
What part of the dash, if any, is non leather?
The sticker on my 04 S says 'standard leather interior' and 'Black Embossed Leather N/C'.
If there are areas that are not leather I suspect they should not be cleaned with leather cleaner nor fed with leather food.
But I am not clever enough to tell which areas might not be real.

If your dash looks like this it is leather. If it is textured it is not.
I was under the impression that only the turbos came with leather dash and that you could not add a leather dash to the S.

You can get full leather on an S, which includes a leather dash. It's a $3,200 option but when you start looking at what gets covered in leather, it's really extensive and probably worth the money. My S has this option and my interior looks just like the photo above, except the wood. I went with the aluminum package.

Bummer.
I guess I'll have to get some Lexol Vinylex quick wipes to use on the dash and will have to reserve my Lexol leather cleaner quick wipes (http://www.lexol.com/qwipes.html) to use on the seats only.

Just to clarify, the top of my dash is definitely smooth and does not have any texture to it. I have the grey leather interior that has the 2 different shades of grey.
does this mean it is full leather and not standard?
